February 2012 President's Day There will not be classes on Monday, February 20th. Reminder Dress rehearsal will be on Thursday, June 14th and the show will be on Saturday, June 16th at the Sandler Center in Town Center. More information forthcoming. Recital Packages Recital Fee Packages will be going on sale in the Spring. Please remember every family participating in the recital is required to purchase a recital package. Only one recital fee required per family not per child. Late Fees There will be a late fee charge if tuition is not paid by the 10th of each month. If there are any problems, please give me a call. Dress Code Students need to remember to follow the dress code at all times. They need to have their hair out of their face during classes. Snow Days In the case of bad weather, we will be following the Virginia Beach Public Schools closings unless the roads are clear. Check facebook for any updates. If you have any questions please give us a call. First Competition Don’t forget the Encore Dance Company will have their first competition the weekend of February 3rd at the Chrysler Hall in Norfolk with On Stage America. Our second competition is February 18th at the Virginia Beach Sheraton with Dance Masters of America. The dancers have been working very hard and we know they will do great! Good Luck Encore Dance Company! Pictures This year our picture days will be Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th. Please mark these dates on your calendar. We are very excited to have Trahadias Studios back again. They always do a wonderful job and we can’t wait to see their work this year! If anyone would like to see a sample of their work, there are beautiful pictures in the lobby that show their quality and excellence in photography and printing. Encore Dance Apparel Make sure you check out the Encore dance apparel. We have sweat pants, hoodies, crew neck burnouts, tee shirts, and draw string bags. They make great gifts for birthdays and special occasions. |
