Here is a little about our dance studio and the
best dance teachers in the area!

Encore Dance Center was established in 1998, with the ambition of becoming the best dance center in Hampton Roads. Our goal is to be able to provide many choices for your dancer. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Hip Hop and Pilates. We begin at age three for children wanting to have a great time listening and dancing to great music, and continue to a very advanced adult program for the professionals and the more experienced dancer.

Encore Dance Center's main objective is to provide a fun and creative experience while learning the art of dance. Encore will have opportunities for the dancers to perform throughout the year. Our recital is called Showcase 2011 and we perform at the Sandler Center at Town Center in Virginia Beach. We are very proud of our yearly production and are always trying to improve oue show. Many have compared our Showcase to a broadway show. That is exactly what we are trying to accomplish and with our amazing teachers and staff our shows continue to be first class productions. We think it is fitting that the best dancers in the area should dance at the nicest performing arts theater in Virginia. We believe dancers are born to perform and we believe these performance opportunities contribute to a well rounded experience and a true sense of accomplishment. Dancing at the Sandler Center is the highlight of our year and something all our dancers hopefully will remember for the rest of their lives.

But what makes a dance studio and what we believe makes us great is our professional dance instructors. Our instructors are extremely talented and very eager to incorporate fun and discipline into dance. All of our instructors are accomplished and well rounded dancers and ready to help your dancer improve their dance skills, enrich their social skills and provide a healthy activity for all to enjoy. Dancers are the most beautiful people in the world.
